Gunslinger Reunion 26th June 2011.

Gunslinger were a well Known and Popular Melbourne Country Rock Band and appeared regularly at Spurs and also at The Wandong Country Music Festival during the 1970's and 80's.

On The 26th June 2011 the band had a reunion at the Waverley Bowls Club to Celebrate former Manager Glenn Knight's 60th Birthday (Pictured At Left). Glenn had been a Radio Announcer since he was a Teenager and had been a part of The 3UZ Country Team along with announcers such as Gene Bradley Fisk and The Late Dave Pincombe. In Later Year's Glenn hosted a Fishing Program on SEN Radio and Tragically Glenn Passed away on the 2nd July just 6 days after the Gunslinger Reunion after completing his Fishing Program at SEN. Glenn had a wide range of Friends amd was well respected by his Radio Colleagues and Listeners alike.

Gunlinger had various Line up changes over the Years but featured Lead Singer Marion Rodda and Lead Guitarist Mark Meallin who later went on to work with Keith Glass & The Tumblers and also worked With Colin Jones in Melbourne Band Texas Touch.



At The Reunion Gunslinger played some Classic Country Rock Tunes Including, Queen Of The Silver Dollar, Ramblin Man and Ghost Riders in the Sky as well as many Others. Check Out the Video's Below as well as The photo Of Gunslinger in Earlier days Down at Spurs.








Also at The Reunion were People such as Sue and Warwick, Penny, Adrian Morton and His Wife as Well as Well Known Radio Announcer Shawn Cosgrove Shown Here With Glenn Knight and Vince Loccisano.

Marion Rodda the Lead Singer of Gunslinger had a busy Day because she not only performed with Gunslinger but also appeared as part Of The all Girl group called the She-laa's, Doing 60's pop hits from the Girl Groups of that era.
